General Terms and Conditions of use
These General Terms and Conditions constitute a contract that governs the relationship between the
CCI Paris Ile-de-France ("the Organiser") and the Participant for the international B2B meetings
In the event of any individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are invalid or become invalid in the future, the validity of other provisions shall not be affected. The provision turned ineffective shall be replaced by an effective provision that reflects closest the purpose desired.
For the purpose of “Paris Business Meeting”, the CCI Paris Ile-de-France collects cooperation offers and requests in an on-line catalogue and organises 1 day of international B2B/B2P meetings for European SMEs and French public procurers and one day of workshop. This event "Paris Business Meeting " will take place December 2nd and December 3rd 2014 at Bourse du Commerce, 2 rue de Viarmes, 75 002 Paris.
The event is targeted at French public bodies and SMEs from all over Europe and beyond which are looking for partnerships.
The Organiser offers the Participants to have their contact details and company profiles added to an
existing database set up by Converve (Supplier of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The objective is to facilitate business contacts with other users of the database.
3. Registration Procedure
The participants must register at the following website until Wednesday, November 19th.
The participant must fill in a short profile to describe his organisation and a cooperation profile, to describe what the company is offering or looking for. The participant must agree to provide accurate, current and complete information as prompted by the registration form ("Profile"). The user name is the e-mail address and the participant must select a password to have access to the data. All entries will be checked and validated by the Organiser before being included in the catalogue. All fields must be completed in English and some are mandatory (*).
For each type of collaboration sought (e.g. technical cooperation agreement, joint venture, commercial alliance, etc) a new cooperation profile must be submitted. Furthermore, each profile can be assigned to a different representative within the organisation of the Participant. If information is missing or unclear, the Organiser will contact the Participant. Profiles which are incomplete, unclear or not relevant to the event will not be included in the catalogue. Once registered, the Participant will receive an email to acknowledge the participation request. The participant will receive his business agenda before Monday, November 24th.
Participant agrees to honor the appointment he has accepted or requested during the Event. If the participant fails to meet its pre-scheduled appointments, the organiser reserves the right to cancel all his planning. In this case no refund will be made by the organiser.
4. Participation fee
4.1. Price of the participation
The public procurers pay no mandatory registration fee for the Paris Business Meeting.
The SMEs pay a mandatory registration fee of:
• 350 euros (420 euros Incl. VAT) if there is only one representative of the company. In this case, there will be one company profile and one business schedule.
• 420 euros (502.30 euros incl. VAT), if two representatives of a company are registered. In this case, there will be one company profile but two business schedules.
4.2. Means of Payment
The participation to the Paris Business Meetings can be paid after the validation of the profile by the Organiser:

The Organiser cannot be held liable for the accuracy or inaccuracy of the information and content
provided by the Participant that might contravene the obligations of the Organiser. The Organiser shall not be responsible if one participant doesn't form successfully any business arrangements with
other participants during the event or anytime in the future.
6.1. Cancellation by the Organiser
If the Organiser fails to perform or is delayed performing any or all of its obligations, the participant
has the right to claim a full refund.
6.2. Cancellation by the participant
In the event of cancellation by the Participant, the Participant must contact the Organiser in one of the following manners:

7. Refund policy
In case of cancellation no later than Monday, November 10th, the payment will be entirely refunded.
No refund will be made after Monday, November 10th.
The Organiser shall not disclose any information communicated by the participant without his express agreement. The provision does not apply to information which is already in the Public
Information communicated by the participant may be used by the Organiser for the publication of an
anonymous profile in the Enterprise Europe Network database for the purpose of partnerships research. More information : http://een.ec.europa.eu/
Information communicated by the participant may be used for the next edition of the ParisBusinessMeeting 2016 only if the participant agrees.
A confirmation to reuse the date provided in the framework of the Paris Business Meeting 2014 the will be asked to the participant at the registration stage of the Paris Business Meeting 2016.
9. Property rights of Data
The Organiser remains the sole holder of property rights and rights to economic exploitation of
inventions and programmes (including software, documentation and written programmes, studies, etc.) and whatever else was prepared, realized, or developed by means of the services provided for
the Paris Business meetings.
10. Force majeure
The organiser shall not be liable to the participant in any manner or be deemed to be in breach of the
present terms because of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of the Organiser’s obligations under the present terms if the delay or failure was due to an “Event of Force Majeure” or
any cause beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control.
For the purposes of the present terms, an “Event of Force Majeure” shall include natural disasters, riots, war, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, epidemics, failure of telecommunication and transportation systems, failure of the world wide web, governmental restraints and act(s) of legislature or any other cause whether similar or dissimilar to any of the causes described in this section.
11. Governing Law and court of jurisdiction
All these terms and conditions shall be governed by the French law. In case of any dispute arising in
connection with these terms and conditions will be the exclusive competence of the Tribunal administratif of Paris.
